Microsoft is testing split screen feature on iPadOS with Word and PowerPoint

Split screen for Word and PowerPoint will be convenient for iPad users, especially for PowerPoint, we can view 2 or more slides to edit at the same time. Currently Microsoft is still testing the iPadOS platform to be able to update to official users as soon as possible.

To use Word and PowerPoint to split the iPad screen in half, if the user is opening the app, simply swipe the dock and drag the app icon up to the left or right to Split View mode. Or click "..." in Word or PowerPoint and choose to open the file in a new window.

Many people still often work on the iPadOS platform with Word and PowerPoint, so this feature is a desirable point. Currently split the screen on the same app, Apple has good support on default applications, and third-party applications are still needed to develop more.

You can join the beta to try it out first at Microsoft Insider.
