Microsoft will soon increase the group chat limit in Teams to 250

Microsoft is rolling out a new update for Teams, which will increase the group call participants limit from 100 to 250 members. This capability has been listed as being developed in the roadmap and is expected to be rolled out gradually to all users by mid-May.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of Teams users has skyrocketed. Giant Redmond has added many new features to cope with and serve a larger user base, including increasing live event limits and more. Increasing the number of participants in a huddle can be a welcome addition for those who need to create a group with lots of members to share information or content.

The company is also taking safeguards to prevent large chat groups from turning into notification nightmares. Features like automatic Outlook replies, typing indicators, video calls, voice calls, and read confirmations are turned off by default when more than 20 users are in a group.

Unfortunately, there is currently no way to limit the number of specific users that can join a conversation. Redmond said it was a required feature, but no information about when and whether the ability to limit the number of participants will soon be available. There are no changes to the 20-person limit for calls.
Increasing the limit of conversation participants will gradually be rolled out to users, so if you haven't already, you'll probably welcome this ability at the end of the month.

Users of Google Drive not only use this service on computers, but also often associate with mobile devices such as phones, tablets. Accordingly, Google Drive supports Touch ID and Face ID on iPhone and iPad to help users enhance security.
